In April 2014, we visited Chidago mid-morning and were disappointed with our
photos. After visiting Red Canyon, Yellowjacket, and Chalfant, we retuned
mid-afternoon to photograph Chidago again. Although not perfect lighting,
the photographs were improved noticeably.
It is important to observe and assess the lighting situation if you are trying
to obtain outstanding photographs at the Volcanic Tablelands.

be given on sites that are relatively unexplored or if the information is not already in the public
domain. We do intend to cooperate with validated researchers who
are interested in sharing information.
